About KUTIR

KUTIR INDUSTRIES was established in the year 1976 as an Ayurvedic Pharmacy. The background for this was AYURVEDA RASAYANA KUTI a renowned Ayurvedic Pharmacy founded by Bhagavan Dr. E. ANANTHACHARYA during the year 1936 in Vijayawada. Bhagavan Ananthacharya was a very famous Ayurvedic Vaidya and Vedic Scholar.
His eldest son Dr. Ekkirala Krishnamacharya directed his sons and a group of youngsters who were qualified and trained by him to establish self employment system to develop their own units instead of seeking employment from Government or Private agencies. With this idea and with the blessings of Bhagavan E. Ananthacharya, Master E.K. inaugurated Kutir Industries with his son Dr. E. Ananta Krishna and his colleagues.

The firm started with the manufacture of Ayurvedic Hair Oil & Tooth Powder. Later incense sticks made from herbal extracts were also included.
Master E.K. formulated the three Ayurvedic Tonics VITACARD – A, VITACARD – H, VITACARD – R which were included in the production and have received quick response from the users. Then another wonderful product introduced by Kutir is Mrita Sanjeevani Tailam (M.S. Tailam) for the purpose of massage.
Dr. E. Ananta Krishna, Managing Partner of the firm who was trained by Dr. E. Ananthacharya in preparing Ayurvedic Medicines revived OJANI the famous product of Ananthacharya and specialized it further and formulated for specific purposes. They are LIVOJ for Liver problems, HRIDOJ for Heart problems, RESPOJ for Respiratory problems, DIAOJ for Diabetes, GYNOJ for Gynic problems, GENTOJ for infertility problems in men and JEVOJ for difficult chronic conditions. The next set of products produced by Kutir are NUTRIMIN a tonic for quick convalescence after any sickness, HEMOCARD a tonic for rapid building up of Hemoglobin, RESPOGUARD a tonic for quick relief for allergic respiratory problems, RUMAKUT a powerful oil for Rheumatic problems, HAIRCARE a herbal shampoo powder for healthy hair, BODYGUARD a herbal bath powder for healthy skin and CHARMOJ an antiseptic ointment for injuries and all sorts of allergic skin problems. Also Kutir has brought out Ten verities of Herbal vegetable Ayurvedic soaps which have received good response.

KUTIR INDUSTRIES has obtained GMP certificate from the “AYUSH” department of Andhra Pradesh. All the products are manufactured under ideal hygienic conditions in their own building situated at Chinamushidivada, Visakhapatnam.

In addition to the above products Kutir Industries is producing Sastrik Ayurvedic Products like Chywanprash, Triphala Churn and Asvas and Aristas. Also there is a plan to bring out products like “Ayurvedic Herbal Tea”, tablets for Diabeti patients etc.
